Title: [HELP] Crash when using " Conditional Branch" event command.
Post by: Jin_Axl on August 18, 2007, 10:07:35 AM
Hi there, I have this problem :
When I use the command "Conditional Branch" to check if there's "xxx Gold or More", it appeared an error report from the RPGXP application :

"Critical Error C0000005 at address 004A6638"

Then the application auto exit without saving anything.
Maybe it's a program bug ? Does anyone have problem like me ?
How can I fix this ?
Thanks for any help. Guys.  :lol:

Well I don't know how to post picture on 4rum.
But I'll try to describe this :

It's simply when I use the command "Conditional Branch", tab 4, choose the first option : When xxx Gold or More
Ex : Conditional Branch: if Gold is 500 or more ( this line actually didn't even appear !)

The application then show the error report :

#==================================#
#RGP maker XP                                                      #
#Critical Error C0000005 at address 004A6638     #
#==================================#

That's it.
Hope you understand.  :(

Open the event, press Prt Sctn button, paste screenshot in paint, save it, upload to imageshack, post link.

but make sure the event looks like this:

@>Conditional Branch: Gold 500 or more
@>
: Else
@>
Branch End

Well, the command " Conditional Branch" can't even execute.
When I choose Conditional Branch
Gold 500 or More
and press OK.

The crash bumped out immediatly.

It's a programming bug, I think.

thanks to Mastermoo.
The problem is the cr@cked file " RPGXP.exe" I downloaded from a site.
It's the reason of all the trouble.
Can you give me a better cr@ck MMoo ?  :lol:

There is nothing wrong with linking to a non-existing file at sendspace ;)
Though I don't know what purpose it serves.

Anyway. Version 1.02 that exact problems. That's what the patch to v1.02a fixes.
