Title: Before you post a RGSS error topic. [READ]
Post by: Falcon on May 29, 2007, 09:07:21 PM
Please, before you post about an error you get in your game, please consider the following:

1. Post the whole error!
I want to hurt any n00b who makes a post along the lines of "omg, I get tis errur aboot Scene_Status plz help meh!11!!!!!" This is no help to us scripters, and I ignore anyone who posts a topic like that. In addition to the error, should the error specify a line, please post the line it concerns.

2. Post all non default scripts you use.
Make sure to post all non default scripts you have, this allows a scripter to make a replica of the your project, so they can see the error for themselves. In addition, some scripts may have known compatibility errors.

3. Post the script you get the error in.
Make sure to post the script you received the error in, so it can be quickly checked.

4. All of the Script Forum Rules.

Anyone who ignores these rules will have one strike, then I screw up their posts.

Alright, I don't think I've ever given out a strike for not posting what non-default scripts, or not posting an error, but I'm going to start.

If anyone breaks one of these rules, there will be consequences now.
