Title: Throwing weapons (A la zelda)

Does anybody know of a fairly simple way to make the character throw or simply use a sword without going into a turn based fight? (like in the legend of Zelda for the NES)

This is called an ABS. Check the forums for scripts or a tutorial on www.hbgames.org for an evented ABS.

I looked through that forum and I couldn't find what h'm looking for but I just may not be searching the right thing.

It seems that You, Rolo doesn't understand what mastermoo420 meant.
By Using an Action Battle System (ABS), an option is there to enable projectile attacks besides only melee.
Xiderowg's Action Battle System is very good.

Just for reminder this isn't exactly "simple".
