Title: Help with Blizz's ABS
Post by: ddgrimm on July 22, 2007, 06:30:57 PM
I want to do something like in Zelda, where you can slash the grass, but I'm having trouble with it. This is how I did it.

I made and enemy for the grass, with 1HP.

Then in the event I done \e[2] - so it reads the enemy, but it doesn't stand still, and I can pass over it.

How do I make it non-passable, and standing still?

Or how can I do this in a totally different/easier way.

well, you can turn through off, and maybe make the enemy passive? I don't really know, I don't and haven't used it. Read the manual. There are different enemy types. I am sure one of those enemy types will suit your needs.

Or you could just make the grass yourself...

Ask Blizzard here. (http://z3.invisionfree.com/ChaosProject/index.php?showtopic=378) He can answer your question better than any of us.
