Use Game controllers in rpg maker xp? i just want to know because i'm sick of using my keyboard.
I highly doubt it. It is most likely not possible. I, however, am no RMXP expert, so I may be wrong.
I use 2k3, not XP but I heard XP has a button reconfiguration option, so you may be able to do it through that.
We have scripts that use a mouse, other to use the keyboard in different fasions. Its probably not that hard to modified a few things for a game controler, PROVIDING YOU KNOW THE INPUT OF EACH BUTTON.
rpg xp, pk (at most is possible, 2000, or 2003 not possible)

It's possible, I use my USB controller(it resembles the PSX controller) to play RMXP stuffs, to configure the controller's input, press F1.

ok but do you just use the buttons to configure it?
It would probably be easier if you used an external application to configure your game-pad to certain keys.
Happen to know of any zeriab?
Nope, I don't have a game-pad so I haven't searched for one.
Well... Maybe you can do something with the Game Controllers section in the Control Panel (Windows)
its worth a shot.
Uh, in RMXP all you have to do is press f1 in game and then click gamepad, then set the controls.>_______>

Already gone over that but they want a program to configure the keys so they don't get it wrong.
It is possible and you can download a program to convert the buttons to keyboard keys. Just google jaypad to keyboard controls or something like that and you'll find something.

Mine was already converted for use in RMXP when I configured the buttons for EPSXE.
