I will have a thing in my game so you can go and fish, but I need to organize the fish by how rare they are, so the chances of getting a more rare fish are lower.

Actually, no, I am not.
I have created a common event that has to do with random variables between specific integers, and then each fishing rod generating different random number ranges.
So, like, an old rod, when you fish at the water terrain, would be 1-5 for the random numbers, and as the rods increase, so does the amount of different fishes you can catch :D
I try not to use scripts, they usually occur in errors.
Wouldn't make you have to put the sommont event in every maps ?
That could make your game grow in size.
no, the event could be a parallel process common event, but it would need a call script to see what type of terrain the player is hitting enter next to (if I'm not mistaken)
Nope, you can set a variable to the terrain tag of the square an event or player is on.
And, hrrm.

But that means each map has that fishing event , right ?
