Title: RPGXP-made games on PSP/ other consoles?
Post by: clakes707 on July 09, 2007, 03:08:52 AM
i just want to know if it is possible to play games made with RPGXP on a PlayStation Portable or any other console? In the thread asking if the actual RPGXP porgram could be put on it, they said yes, so I though maybe the games could. Am I right?

No.

Consoles use different "operating systems" (if you could call them that, kernel is probably better), APIs and in many cases differend types of CPUs with different instruction sets.

It'd only be possible if somebody was able to reverse engineer RMXP's engine enough to write some kind of homebrew interpreter for whatever console or handheld etc. Basically, don't hold your breath. Totally illegal too, though you probably knew that.

Who would want to play your game, anyway?
