Title: How to open a game folder on RPG maker thats just been added
Post by: FutureChris on June 16, 2007, 03:26:56 AM
See my computer restored, and I have my game zipped up on a cd, so I put it on my computer and I drag it from my desktop into the RPG Maker folder (where a normal project would go), but when I go to open it in the program, it doesnt appear for me to continue working on it...so how can I open it and work on it again?

yea, it doesn't recognize it for some reason, maybe so it'd prevent people from leeching off other peoples game...try it and see what I mean, zip your project, put it on a cd, and then try to open it on someone else's computer that has RPG maker

well....another way is to make a new project on RPG maker, then go to its folder and erase everything on it and put all of the the stuff of the project on the cd (chipset, charset, panorama, music, ect.) and voila!....maybe.
