The spider sprite sheat looks great, just twitch the Spiter Battler and make it look more meneasing........but, great work!

Here's what happens when you play with the colour settings in RPG maker...
(I have many sets set as firest spider / Dark Spider / Common Spider... It works fairly well in game...

Yeah... I have set my monster groups that the one attacking has offencive skills and the other has staus changing skills... Shame about the skull...

oh a black spider! Make the skull white, and since is the Mother of all spider, make it double the size of the normal spider......maybe if you want
I think the sprite, on some of the views, looks like it has pincers, like a lobster. Other than that, it all looks fairly good. I think 2nd battler is pretty good.

Redone the pincer like legs... The down facing sprite the legs needed thining out.

Brown Recluses are way more poisonous.
how bout the Tarantula? are they more poisonous or the Brown Recluse?
Not many Trantula's have enough venom to kill, even the recluce spider has very rarely killed people... Black widows and wandering spiders have one of the largest kill rates.
I used to have an Indian Ornimental spider... That was nice !!!

hmmm i think you should make another one like this but make it black then make the but big big big circle shape thing hehehe this is nice stuff LOS ^_^ can you make a griffin one that does not look like the RTP ver. =)

I used Photoshop and used the Paint Brush tool, and some clever layer techniques and the smudge tool in places... Gives a Comic style look... Drew them using the mouse.

I put the outlines on one layer and the colouring on another (Lower than the lines)
