Ok, this is the second tutorial by me, so if it is bad...I'm new! For this tutorial you'll need Hypershadow180's tall grass autotile:(https://rmrk.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Faycu24.webshots.com%2Fimage%2F16183%2F2001323201925105481_rs.jpg&hash=32670dcf3ca0191b53779271f68ba4e65dcfb87e) (http://allyoucanupload.webshots.com/v/2001323201925105481)
Now go ahead and start a new map. Like always you see this:
(https://rmrk.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Faycu40.webshots.com%2Fimage%2F16479%2F2003030483955077983_th.jpg&hash=a72b0b5edaa6987d0832ece160b5945a6ae709e0) (http://allyoucanupload.webshots.com/v/2003030483955077983)
Make a few not so neat paths(It is ruins after all!):
(https://rmrk.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Faycu16.webshots.com%2Fimage%2F18575%2F2003058381095044127_th.jpg&hash=93713241ba2b19988ac2489c90a531cb512446c9) (http://allyoucanupload.webshots.com/v/2003058381095044127)
And Immediatly go to layer 2, where the grass autotile comes into play Remember to make it nice and messy!:
(https://rmrk.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Faycu31.webshots.com%2Fimage%2F15510%2F2003062277373568310_th.jpg&hash=0e7ee790b637da27d6e4dfee71ed4183865eed79) (http://allyoucanupload.webshots.com/v/2003062277373568310)
Now for the buildings! Go on to layer 3. I've always done the front of my ruins first, but that is my personal opinion:
(https://rmrk.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Faycu09.webshots.com%2Fimage%2F18328%2F2003067751655191449_th.jpg&hash=04c2cae181a58dc7dd834f87800842ff7ef9bd72) (http://allyoucanupload.webshots.com/v/2003067751655191449)
Finish up the basic shapes of your buildings:
(https://rmrk.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Faycu02.webshots.com%2Fimage%2F18001%2F2003009340933685109_th.jpg&hash=8846bccedb51650eb34940ebe60534d93e70887a) (http://allyoucanupload.webshots.com/v/2003009340933685109)
Now, start on the details, such as cracks in the building, breaks in the walls, all that good stuff:
(https://rmrk.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Faycu15.webshots.com%2Fimage%2F16974%2F2003081245195277126_th.jpg&hash=8ac24330340b3f7ebfc782556041a556b6687c6e) (http://allyoucanupload.webshots.com/v/2003081245195277126)
We are in the last few stages of our ruins now. Go ahead and add some trees, use the layers to your advantage!:

The final step, the broken pots:

I hope this helped anyone out there with their mapping, and there will be another tutorial coming soon!
Next time: The Cave
Do you mind uploading them on photobucket.com? The images will be bigger that way. :P Pretty good, though.
Yeah, sure. I use this site because it lets you upload 10 images at once.
