hi,

ive got a huge collection of .mod files which are basically 8-bit music tracks i love them so much *hugs*
more info on them can be found here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MOD_(file_format)).

and the collection i ahve can be downloaded here (http://www.chiptunes.org/files/chiptunes-full-000825.tar.gz)

im wondering if theres a portable music player that can play these. anyone know of one

Mmm, modules. I have an archive of screamtracker (.s3m) modules somewhere.

I don't know of any portable player that can play modules. Shame :(. To listen to mine I just record them into mp3s (I produced my UT GOTY ost by just getting a decoder for the .umx files (special module format used by epic) and then just recording the output.

[edit] - Attach :3 - playable in at least winamp.
