has anybody ever made a final fantasy 6 battle system?/how hard would it be to make one.

There are various ABS(active battle systems) out there. I've yet to mess with one though since my main interest is scripting, not game making.

EDIT:I completely forgot to mention that you can check the Scripts Database (http://rmrk.net/index.php/board,27.0.html) and the Creation Asylum (http://www.creationasylum.net/index.php?act=idx) with the forum search feature which is usually at the top right hand corner of all pages at practically any forum.

I don't remember the ff6 battle system. Was it active or turn based?

It was an active battle system. In addition, each character had a special ability or technique that made them unique.

I know C++ but almost no ruby so I couldn't write you one but I've  seen countless Active battle systems and it shouldn't be to hard to get someone to edit one if it's not exactly what your looking for.
