Title: Final Fantasy Legends (I, II and III )
Post by: Lavata on May 17, 2007, 11:17:56 PM
Has anyone played these games?  The Final Fantasy Legends series of games actually belongs to the SaGa series..but with a FF name upon it. They are actually pretty good, though not the very best. They were released by Square for the GB a long time back. I'm currently playing through FFL3, and it's quite fun. Anyone else hear of these games?

I actually have played only FFL2 and FFL3. I agree, those games are pretty good for their old age.

But they're actually, very challenging to finish!

Final Fantasy Legends II is crazy hard to beat. I mean If you don't know what you doin, then Kiss the Game Ending Goodbye, cause You'll never get the chance to see it.
The Training system is very random in that game.

Also the Final Boss for FFL3 was longest/hardest Boss that I've spent time on, to actually take out. Took me about a Month to get lucky enough to Kill em.

Overall, I give them both 7/10 The Story IS pretty decent...  :)

FF 1 & 2 are really hard. I had to cheat my way through FF2s last boss. FF 1 was easier, but I've never played FF 3. But, yeah, it depends if you're into old games. If you imagine someone reviewing those games a long time ago, they would've probably given them 10/10. I'll give them 9/10.

Wait..so are you talking about the original 1, 2 and 3? The ones which are part of the numbered series, or FF LEGENDS, part of the 3 games which were on the Game Boy?

I'm not to the final boss yet..since I just really started. 1 is very hard..and 2 is just hard. The original 2 was much more fun to level up in(seeing as FFL2 and FF2 had the same leveling up system.)

Those games were awesome, and still are. Remember this?
The Final Boss in FF Legends 1 could be defeated in one hit with the Saw Weapon because of a Glitch? Ha Ha.
If I recall correctly, it didn't always work. Why not try it yourself if you find the time?

Yeah, I'll do that. I think I have a save left from mid-games.

Remember, it doesn't always work, so please don't yell at me and say I was lying if it doesn't. If I have to, I'll prove it.
