I've looked...and looked...and looked, but I cannot seem to find one anywhere.

Could someone please help, if they know where one is, or would be willing to create one.

I need a script that would allow the player to change the name of the protagonist. The event won't work how I want it to, and I'm unfortunately, not a miracle worker.

A little like you see on all RPG's...where you have this letter selection screen. Then I would like it somehow to be compatible with the Letter by Letter script that I have found equally useful.

It isn't essential, but I would appreciate it. PM me or Ravenshade (We're working on the game together)...Ravenshade is more likely to be on here than me, so it might be better to pm him if you need details or anything.

In what way does the event not work as you'd like it to?

Please specify what you'd like it to do that the event does not

Hai, right, I want the person who is playing the game to be able to input the name of their choice for the main character, or any character that is a main character. The even doesn't work because I have to change the name and then people feel less attachment to the character.

I want it to come up with a screen of some kind where there are a bunch of letters, big and small, once the letters are in order...and the user has chosen their name, I want it to coincide with the Hero's name.

There's not really much I can use to explain it, but I'll try my hand at some ASCII...

Sorry I'm not really much cop with ASCII, but I tried. I want the script to allow this.
