I have a sword, in a stone, and would like to use it as an event, but it takes 2 spaces on the tileset, is there anyway to make an event that takes 2 spaces?
Well, let's say half of the width is 20 pixels. And half of the height is also 20 pixels. Then, just make a picture that is 80x80 and just put the sword in between two of the "squares." (GOD, that description sucks)
What? I'm sure you understand what I want....but....you just confused me more. And I'm intelligent.
The sword does take up 2 spaces, but actually the sword in the stone could be set to where you can walk behind one part and stop walking into the other, that way you can use one event for the for sprite. Just go to the tileset manager and set the sword sprite to be like so
top of sprite - O, all arrows, 1*, . , . , 0
bottom of sprite - X, no arrows, . , . , . , 0
That is labeld starting with pasability, directional pass, priority, obscuring, countertop, terrain. (Options in the tileset manager)
Try that out. Makes since once you set it up.
Hmm...that's ingenious! Using half the sprite for the event and half as a sprite itself...you my friend are a genius!
Thank you for the comment, but its not all the complicated. Just play around with settings in the RPG Maker and you'll learn too.
