So, I know some of you have already heard this, but now that Silver has it hosted, I can link to it with those fancy mp3 tags. ^_^
IMO, this is the best thing I've written, and one day, probably a few years from now, I'll have a live recording of it. Until then, you'll have to settle for this.
NOTE: I've just recently listened to this through my computer speakers and must say it sounded 10 times worse than through headphones. I recommend listening with headphones if you can.

I'm trying to listen to it, but it's taking forever to load. :(
The first half of the overture sounds :O though
edit: I wish I could write symphonies. :(
I just don't think in movements, I think in short sections, like verse chorus preverse interlude etc... =\
I just finished listening to the second movement. It's awesome. I should take that second movement and put it in my morrowind audio folder so I can listen to it while I explore! Because it's perfect for that!
Awesome so far.
^_^
Thank you very much. I'm re-recording though. Apparently I've been using Garritan wrong, which would explain why some of the instruments are so weak sounding (brass in particular). :bean:
fuck you it's too good ;9
I say that to myself about your stuff. ;9 If we combined to become one super-composer we'd be UNSTOPPABLE! :o
AND ALSO ONE SUPER-MODERATOR AMIRITE LOL
Heard/Hearing the first part, great job Halo <3
Re-recordings are complete, and are now up. The brass are much stronger and the woodwinds are a bit higher quality. If I had another gig of RAM then I could've done some really nice strings, but oh well.
And thanks again to Silver for going through the trouble of hosting this and then uploading the re-recordings like a day later. :tpg: <3
It's really quite profound that someone could make such touching, insightful music without real instruments. Truly beautiful Halo.
