Hey i am new here and thought what better way to introduce myself than by asking for help.
well here it is. i started a project on Rm2k3 but my game is lacking. i think it is becouse i can't get pumped up
i have no motivation. i like the story idea. you have the choice of three character's.
Rabbit the Necromancer who's home town is engulfed by the Demon offspring the Kiosin which came from the dark star rika.
Loc the monk who was triked into opening the portal from earth to Rika and must now make thing's right.
And Zane the soldier who is suked into the past to stop the portal wich infest's the world.
Also i belive my graphics are Lacking slightly.
Any advice???
Maybe a screenshot to show us some of it?
Assemble a team =] Solo projects aren't as fun IMHO.
Yeah, but teams are hard to get when you are new.

Yeah, I was about to say that. The best thing to do is to take a look at some of our fine tutorials here, and improve. ;)

It depends if he has any particular skills...even before I got RMXP I was able to draw and compose music etc.
Yeah, if you have any particular talents that will convince people a game made by you will be good. It is definitely possible to get a team without being around for very long
I sadly don't have any great skill's. i'm not a graphics man. i'm more of a story plot and event's guy.

Storywriters are often the one's who put together projects seeing as their pretty much the most important people >.>
I agree and i belive my story is pretty cool. and once i get motivated it will be a heck
of a lot easyer.

Put a good, detailed story in the recruitment post, and people will probably sign up if they think it is good.
It has to be pretty detailed though, since they'd need to know that you don't just have a single idea and are not sure where you're going with it. And a plus is to show that you are good at character development and dialogue.
