I want to put this script, just like diablo2 equipping system
for example:
gold helm
gold plate mail
gold boots
when X equipped by them, X gains +10% def +10%MaxHP
So wait...you want a 10% increase for each item equipped?
This is the best way I can describe what I think he meant.
Gold Helm by itself is equipped. No bonuses from wearing the set item.
Gold Helm and Gold Plate Mail are equipped. +5% defense/max hp is awarded for wearing 2 of 3 items in a set.
Gold Helm and Gold Boots are equipped. +5% strength is awarded for wearing 2 of 3 items in a set.
Gold Helm, Gold Plate Mail, and Gold Boots are equipped. +15% def/max hp and +10% strength is awarded for wearing the entire set.
Each item in the set gives different bonuses when worn with other items from the same set.
I think you can find a script like that or I can make you one, but I believe you will need some scripting knowledge to edit it the way you want..
I would have done it for you, but I'm really busy these days, and I'm having finals as well, so sorry :-[
Hey I think you can do that with events ! It IS possible... :)
yeah, i mean different armors gives different stats too, like
silver (armor, helm & boots) gives +20% agi
supreme (armor, helm, shield) gives +20% str
i hope someone could make my request >_>
~bump~
Just make some common events...<Conditional branch> If silver armor equiped <Conditional branch> If Silver helm equiped <Conditional branch> If Silver boots Equiped <THEN> Change Base Agility +20
(A Common event with A branch with in a branch with in a branch)
Fairly simple... Just set a trigger before each battle to check what the party are equiped with.
yeah events are more simpler well for me coz i dunno how to script hehe
err something like this
@>Conditional branche [hero] is [silver armor] equiped
@>change parameters [hero], Max Hp+ XXx[amount]
@>Conditional branche [hero] is [silver shield] equiped
@>change parameters [hero], Max sp+ XXx[amount]
@>Conditional branche [hero] is [silver helm] equiped
@>change parameters [hero], Max sp+ XXx[amount]
@>
Else
@>
Branch end
Else
@>
Branch end
Else
@>
Branch end
That's the idea... On the else statement you can have it show a message... or give a hint to mix a set... or some thing... Using events leave's it open ended and easy to change should you need to.
