The RPG Maker Resource Kit

I want it so that there is rain AND lightning. Is that possible? I tried Storm AND Rain but it didn't work.

Have you tried events? Set it to when a certain amount of frames have passed (10= 1 second) then make the screen tint white and then change it back to the original one you had (Don't forget sounds effects after the flash =D). Also don't forget to change the weather to Rain.

For rain you just set it with the option in the events page.
As for lightning, you have to make a common event that is parallel processes, flashes a yellow tint, and happens randomly. You can also put the rain event in a common event and just call it when you need it.
