Title: [RESOLVED] Please help me with my switch(es)!
Post by: clakes707 on April 22, 2007, 05:56:53 PM
You walk into this house, and talk to a man. He tells you that the items you need are in a chest on the floor. You then open the chest, and text is shown, saying that those are the right item,s bla blah, and a switch, called chest_one is turned on. You then leave the house, and you can only go out of the door if the switch chest_one is on. If you try to go out of the house before then, it will show a message saying that you need to get the items first. The problem is that even after you have opened the chest(and turned on the switch), if you try to go out of the door, it says the mesage. Why is this? Thanks for your help! :)

Assume you are already isid the house,
(Event That lets you out of the house)
1st page should give you your message.
2nd page should be precondition switch chest_one=on and then teleport

should work

well, I don't know if this would effect it, but the switch oage is the first page, and the message page is the second page. I might just use a conditional thing like Nouman said. Thanks!

It does effect it. It reads the highest numbered page that meets it's conditions.
