Title: Event Requests
Post by: Alerith on April 22, 2007, 01:11:49 PM
Similar to what is being done in the scripts database, I will take requests for setting up complex events for anyone who either doesnt have time or is still too ignorant of the system for now.

I am woefully ignorant of scripting, but when it comes to events, I'm your man.

Requirments:

This can't be some dinky 4 line event. If im going to work on it for you, make it somewhat of a challenge. (And no, no 40 pages either.)

Please use the search function and check the scripts database before requesting. I don't want to work on something that can be easier to do with a script or that has already been posted.

Cheers,
-Alerith-

Probably should say a maker in case you haven't tried one of them.

Eh, RMXP, Rm2k, Rm2k3 and Rmk95.

Im way off my game for '95 though, so try to keep it with the 3 most recent.

I can give you a request if you want something to do until you get a real request.
Just having 1 timer is not enough for me.
I want to have a certain event trigger every 44 minutes.
Another every 60 minutes and a third every 37 minutes.
I do not want them to start immediately nor at the same time. Imagine 3 different NPCs start countdowns.
The choice to display the timer is good, but not necessary. I don't mind having them hidden.
It would also be nice if it is easy to create a new timer. As simple as possible without being too bothersome, that is the goal ^_^

Yes, that's the request. Note that I don't need it and good luck if you decide to do it ;)
Also, I don't mind which maker you choose. (I only have RMXP)
Will this be a common event for the whole game or just for a specific map?

Request?
How about... Making a event CBS where on the main map, enemys approach and attack. But... Also, your other players appear automatically and follow your player. And theyll fight to. BUT! You have to still be able to move with the Left, Right, Up and Down keys. To attack is Space Bar. Pressing another button will let the player use the latest skill theyve learnt.

Those which are in red are optional.
It should work like a timer except that it should stop during battles.
Whether it's just 1 map or several. Both must be supported ^_^

Perhaps state the maker you want him to use.  :-\
