Title: [RESOLVED] Moving down while facing up...
Post by: Borlock on April 20, 2007, 07:49:31 PM
What I'm looking for is a way to have the main character go down a rope, so he needs to always be facing "up", even while moving down... any way to do this? I can't find out how to. Thanks!  ;D

Ah well this be an easy task. You just have to use the Lock Facing option in Move Event. That'll lock the character's direction, then just make it move with Step Down.

I feel stupid for saying this, but I forgot to say I'm using RPGM 2000 (I started it before getting the other versions)... is it still in that version? I can't find it... :-\

Don't feel bad, to each his own maker preference, but you should put the maker, as it helps.  :police:

And it's there in Move Event just renamed to fix Direction or fix dir. When you're done with the ladder descents, make sure to use Cancel Fix dir.

Hopefully that works.
