WTF!! When I test-play my game the player, all of a sudden, can't move at all! Well... he CAN turn around, but he can't MOVE!! What should I do? What could have happened? And It's not that I turned a X on everytile in the Database > Tilesets -section! Please help me!
It has to do with the passability... Or the directional pass. I'm like 80% sure that it has to do with those.
Yeah? Well guess what, 20% left must be in where the true asnwer lies!
1. Do you have a event with AutoRun and no Erase Event?
2. MM420... What he said.
3. I dunno.
Autostart would make him unable to move at all. He can still turn. Maybe you put white stuff everywhere? The blank white thing. I remember something going wrong when I did that. o0 Or is it your starting place?
oh btw... I'm using a pokémon tileset
It definately sound like you made a mistake when you set passibility. Considering it's an import map, that kind of thing is most likely. Please check how you set passibility. You could have made a small mistake and not noticed.
No that's the problem! I didn't do anything wrong, I could even play it totally without problems at first! It's just now it started to lagg up!! Well, well... thanks for all help but >I'm going to bed now... Hope I can find the answer tomorrow! :D
Try starting him on a different square and report back.
It actually sounds like RM may be corrupt. Back up your project, then re install RM.
If it's lagging one of your events is most likely causing a problem. You'd have to give more details for us to be able to help.
yeayh but I can't detail it too mu´ch... all I can say is the following:
- I can start the game anywhere and he won't move except the turning to the right, left, up and down.
- It worked earlier when I tried it.
- It's not like I made some invisible obsticles.
- I have a few events... A few cuts, rocksmashes, a pokéball... Some transport player events and a sister joy in the pokémon center...
Move the starting point to a normal grassed area, and make sure your starting points floor tile set is on Layer 1
tried it... doesn't work! (I tried it again and STILL doesn't work... ._.)
OK... make a Map using the standard RTP tiles sets and auto tiles, pu the strt point there... Add a teleport event away from the starting point to you map that you can't move on...
If you can move fine on the standard RTP map but not on your custom one... Bebuild your custom one and check it bit by bit..
