Title: Temporarily Stopping Events [RESOLVED]
Post by: RedKnight on April 09, 2007, 04:56:06 AM
OK. I finally figured out how to make Monsters appear and walk around, but now I need to know something else. Suppose I make the Monster walk forward 6 steps. Well, how can I make my character's conversation stop while the Monster is walking? This is for RM2K3 by the way.

You can use the wait command.

How? Like, how do I enter the command? Do I enter Step Right, Wait, Step Right, Wait, Etc.?

No, you'd enter in the move event as normal, but there is another event command called wait (bottom 2nd page I think). All you have to do iss place that underneath your move event, set to however many seconds you think it will take to complete the movement.

lol

No need to credit. It's just a single event, and anybody who's used the program for a little while could've told you the same.

Doesn't matter. I credit the people who teach me this stuff.
