Title: Weapons/Armor
Post by: magic2345 on April 07, 2007, 08:53:52 AM
What would be the standard strength for first weapon and defense for first armor? I have trouble deciding the stats for the weapons and armors. And how much should I increase the cost for the second weapon? Can someone make a tutorial or something?

Thanks,

I donĀ“t know much but i think it all depends on you. How strong enemies you make, how much money they drop, how difficult you want your game to be and so on.If your enemies are strong make better weapons and armors if weak make weaker weapons and armor. And also what rpg maker are you using. Xp and 2003 should have different defense and strenght values.

I'm sorry but what I wanted to know was the stats. Example: What does the Strength stat in the shield section does. Things like that...

Oh, thats simple, its a Stat bonus, when equiped it grants the amount of strength.

Eg.

Strength 10 on sheild
Strength 90 on Character
Character equips sheild
Strength on character now 100

Ooooh... So thats what it does... What about the phys Defense and MAg Defense and Evasion?
Oh, and can you tell me what the Effect Rating, Strength, Magic, Dexterity, agility, attack power, evasion, accuracy, phys defense, mag defense and variance in the skills tab?

Thanks,

Physical Deffence is protection from normal Melee attacks where as Mag Deffence is protection from harmful spells. Evasion is how often you are hit the higher the less you are hit the lower the more you are hit.

Im not quite sure what you meant by

You know, in the database there is the skill tab. In there, there are many skills. What I want to know is what does the Effect Rating, Strength, Magic, Dexterity, agility, attack power, evasion, accuracy, phys defense, mag defense and variance do exactly.

Thanks,
