I was Wonder if i need a script or can use events to make it so when you use a certain skill, you have to type in a certain incantaion, like uhh example, "God Smack" lol, skill
you have to type "Jesus Loves You" with perfect grammer or else it failes, anyway i can make it so you have to type it in? i try'd searching but nada. lol
You can't do typing with events, but you can make an event where the person has to input through letter selection. Other than that, I think there is a full keyboard input script on creation asylum, but I am not sure how it works and whether it would work conveniently in this scenario.
so i guess i need a script made :( anyone? ;8
Are we talking about in-battle? This sort of thing doesn't sound too hard to do provided you can find a way to transition effectively from a spell cast to a text input even in the midst of battle, and then back. Can you be a bit more specific?
Ya In Battle, Ok *more examples* when you hit skills *or whatever the thing is* it shows your spells, So you go down to *uhhh* Cresent Force, So I wana make it after you hit the action key *space bar* you have to Input, *uhh lets say, you just gota Type Cresent Force* So after you type it in, you just gota hit action key again, but if you type it wrong i want it to say like, Spell Failed, or Incorrect Command, lol, so ya just gota make it so you can input like a command before it casts, *i didnt explain to well lol* did you understand? ;D :D ;) lol
I gotcha, I was just busy thinking of all the different possibilities for typing in DIFFERENT incantations for the same spell, and seeing a different result. Maybe selecting a skill called "incantation" that lets you type something, and chooses an appropriate skill from the database if you enter the command correctly. Of course, if you just wanted a "password" of sorts in order to allow a single spellcast to work, that could be done too. I'm still trying to figure out the easiest way to accept user input within a battle but it's definitely doable in theory.
