How would i make an item that when used, it gives you a random item?
is tihs to be used in battle? or out of battle?
Out, it's like those things you pop the quarter in, and you get some cheapass piece of plastic.....
geeze, I've always wondered how to make a common event happen when an item is used...if I knew that then this would be a simple variable solution
then all we had ot do was:
Set varible: Random 0-(how many random items you can get)
then condiotnal branch
variable =0
gain item potion
just alot of thouse.

but that dosen't trigger on use does it?
I tried setting that up and w/o using the varible was already randomly choosen and I had all the possible items.
It does, and it ought to work as long as you have the conditions and stuff right It shouldn't be paralell or autostart though. That should be blank. Demo.
I learned a new thing today! thanks lots Modern. I was placing another trigger for it since I had not known that the ITEM would actaully be the trigger itself. xD thanks!

yes it was..
download his attachment. just need to make the varible choose random number, then conditional branch with variable = every number possible that the varible will become after random number is choosen, then each will give an item.
