I need some help. What I want to do is to add a trap that makes you fight in a battle only once. How do I do this with events?
The only once part means at the end of the event page, after battle processing, add (TURN SELF SWITCH A ON)
make a new event page under that event, and set its trigger to SELF SWITCH A
Okay. Another quick question, does self-switch only affect one event, or is it universal ( I mean is the self-switch A i did only affect the event I did it in, or does it effect all of them?
I believe it only affects the map you are on. Some people use it for chests etc.

Self switch only effects that event.
Even if on the same map you make another event and use self switch it would be different and won't mess up the other one.
ah.. i had started to wonder about that myself after reading that...XD

Then your a bit slow =P Why go through making a switch for every event when you can just click self swith A is on, and make another page
meh... i messed up my local switch script w/e it is...
they don't work on any of my projects.. XD doesn't bother me. I don't mind
