How do you do add pictures and such to maps, or roaming monsters using the stuff in the characters folder?

On event layer. The blue one, right click a tile and click NEW EVENT.
On the left of the box that comes up see graphic? Double click it.
Now choose what you want it to look like.

Thank you very much.  One more thing: is it possible to add graphics to an already existing tileset? If not, can you copy one to make a new one with more graphics?

yes there is a way.

In the program press f10, fide the tileset, adn click export.
Then find the file and use paint or w/e to edit it, then go back to the program click f10 and click IMPORT, find the file and wala.
