Title: [RESOLVED] Cutscene on start?
Post by: Mushroom Panda on March 10, 2007, 01:29:31 AM
Is there a way for a cutscene to start my game off?

Also, when I enter a new town (teleport), is there a way to make a cutscene start then, as well?

both = yes.

question for the first, do you want the scene to be before or after you press NEW GAME?

also reply to my question for the answer to that.

I need it to be like this:

1. Double click 'Game.exe'
2. New Game
3. Cutscene on beach
4. Brings you to the beach to play the game and do some missions
5. Once you're on the ship leaving, there's another cutscene
(and probably one cutscene every time you enter a new area, but not all the time)

EDIT: BTW, the lessons aren't available from filefront right now... they're down for a while. I hate filefront, megaupload, rapidshare, etc... Why don't we all get our own website (lol).

You can use the "Auto-Start" feature on events to start as soon as you enter the same zone as the event. Make sure you turn it off with a local or main switch to stop it from looping at the end though.
