Title: Standing Animation
Post by: Dan on January 29, 2006, 06:54:48 PM
How would I incorporate an animation where the hero character (the one you play as) will animate (like a breathing animation) when he's standing still?

Thanks for the help.

Do you mean battler or sprite?

If sprite then you cant. (2003 and XP

If battler then you can only do it with a script (XP)

If battler it does it automatically (2003)

Darn. So you can't have a standing animation for a character sprite? Even with XP?

You can do this with sprites in 2k(3) if you make a common parallel process event with a condition switch that gets set only when you want the animation to run... You'll need sprites to switch from, and have to use the wait command in order to set intervals between the animation changes, but you can do it.
