I'm wanting to change the title menu choices {new game,continue,shutdown) Can anybody help me with this or send me a link that can? ??? I've been looking but can't find it anywhere.
You'd need scripting for that. Learn how to script, then mess with the game's default script.
Do you want to change the words or what the options actually are?
To change the words, just go to Scene_Title in the script editor and look for this line:
# Make command window
s1 = "New Game"
s2 = "Continue"
s3 = "Shutdown"
(should be around line 36 or so)
And change the words to whatever you like. Changing what the options actually do is a little more complicated and you might need to employ a scripter for that.

In RPG MAKER 2003, You simply go to your database menu and do as indicated in this selfexplain picture ^-^ v

OK Algebra, I thought that was it at first but after i changed them and started the test play it wasn't chnaged so I decided to ask. Maybe when I make the actual gamedisk it will be changed. I'll let you know. :lol:
It should show up in Test Play... Did you press OK to exit the script editor or did you just exit? Also, is there any alteration to the way your title system is set up? (ie. Are you using some kind of custom script)
In any case, I just tested it and it definitely shows up. Look into your script ed. and see if the changes were saved.
:-\ OK, yea I am actually using a CMS made by Constance, so maybe that's why.
