Title: Naramura's RTP
Post by: modern algebra on February 20, 2007, 11:16:49 PM
It seems that there is a certain amount of resentment regarding the use of RTP in your game. I was just wondering if that also applied to Naramura's battlers which are based off RTP (http://naramura.kdn.ne.jp/ (http://naramura.kdn.ne.jp/)). I personally think they're pretty cool. Anyway, just wondering what your guys' thoughts on this were. Also regarding the RTP tilesets - I think a few of them are pretty decent, but should I just avoid them regardless?

I'm kinda undecided about RTP. Some of the chipsets/tilsets are nice, but the Grasslands set gets dull after a while.
The characters have nice designs, but the character graphics aren't as good as I'd like them to be.
The battle backgrounds however, are great. I may be using them myself, but resized and increased contrast to fit into my 480x320 sized game.

I've seen these resources before and thry are awsome. Just sucks that everything else looks crap when on the screen with them.

Oh aswome size-view battlers! Never seen these before... haha giant evil slime. X3

I wish he/she would get onto more 3D rtp though. :<
