Can someone please tell how I would make some elements strong against others without having to do with every attack.
I'm making a pokemon game, and say:
A fire attack attacks a grass type, the attack would be flamethrower on the fire types side, instead of making each attack effective against each type it would be normally, can I just make it so each type is effective against the ones they're in the game, it would be very annoying to go through the attacks and do it later when I have the types set out right now.
Someone?
If you don't understand what I'm saying, I'll try to say it clearer in another reply.
Don't understand sorry. Please clearify
use element efficiency in database under class on the right.
Ok, Fire is super effective on Grass, and I want the Element "Fire" to always be super effective on grass, So, instead of having to make each different skill effective to other types, I just want it to automatically make the attacks super effective against other types.
Would I have to make the types Classes, or can I keep them types and do that.
no your going to have to set each skill manually, sorry
:( oh, ok, thanks.
Yeah unfortunatly Enterbrain did not add this feature. But maybe consult with Blizzard or Tsunokiette they might know.
Ok, will do.

Sadly people are right you need to set 4 diffrent thing, each weapon damage magic/element, each hero resistance to these magic/element(i would guess that you will need to make 1 hero for each pokemon so you will set them there)and finaly, the Monsters that also will probably be the whole set of Pokemon but in the monster set to be able to duel them and also be them(in the hero).
see below for the image (RPGM2k3 as ususal)
