Hey! I'm kind of in the dark about metal gear ac!d. What exactly is it about? I'm a great fan of the MGS series
but I have no idea what MGA1 and MGA2 are about. Could someone tell me about them? Thanks in advance.
MGA isn't part of the main storyline for MGS, it is just a little side story that takes place 10 years after either MGS1 or MGS2.
This is the Story:
In 2016, a jumbo jet carrying an important politician -- Senator Hach, a likely future presidential candidate -- is hijacked. In exchange for the senator, the terrorists want something called "Pythagoras" from the United States government. In its efforts to identify the terrorists and discover what "Pythagoras" is, the U.S. finds that "Pythagoras" is the name of a research project being conducted in Lobito Physics and Chemistry Laboratory of the Lobito Island of the Moloni Republic in southern Africa.
The Moloni government refuses to cooperate with the United States, saying that it does not want interference in its affairs. In response the U.S. sends in a special forces team to investigate, but the team is destroyed by armed resistance. With no other options and time running out, the U.S. government calls up legendary retired mercenary Solid Snake to infiltrate the laboratory, rescue the senator, and discover the nature of the secret research.
The message this brings me is that its game involving acid or a game on acid I can't tell but i won't buy the game because i suck at the mgs. so i would suck at mga.
If zamullet knows and if he like the mgs series he will put it in a bucket and take a diarria on it[its metiphoritcaly I hope you know]. I say that because he hate twilight princess because of how many game there are and the only thing does not crap on is fishing which is pointless unless your on the wii.
God, I wish they'd drop it already.
Metal Gear Game 1: Solid snake, yay sneaking etc. At the end, snake retires.
Metal Gear Game 2: Solid snake again. He comes out of retirement. yay more sneaking, still not very popular game
Metal Gear Game 3: Metal Gear Solid. OH MY GOD! INCREDIBLE! AWESOME! HOLY SHIT!!! Snake once more comes out of retirement. He retires yet again at the end.
But from here you have metal gear Solid 2, metal gear solid 3 (?) Twin snakes? Snake eater? Acid?
It's like if Tomb Raider went Tomb Raider, Tomb Raider II, Tomb Raider III, Tomb Raider III-II, Tomb Raider III-III, Tomb Raider III-IV, etc, though with tomb raider II they'd decided that was enough for the poor hero and he wasn't going to be doing anything anymore. Did somebody just say sellout? Because I think I just heard somebody say sellout.
For the record, I think Tomb raider has sort of crashed and burned also ;9. It's peak for me was TRII. But that's another thread entirely.
I hated the MGS and MSA series except for MGS 3:Snake eater that was a good game. As for Tomb raider it sucked! OMFG I fell asleep. Boring all the way through. Except for Tomb Raider: Legends at least that was a bit fun.

If this the case what is the point of snake even retiring if they are going to ask for his help...again.
In MGS4 Snake dies. :o Oh yes, he does.

In MGS4 Snake dies! :o And the maker said, it's gonna be the last MGS.
dramatic yet do not care and yet confused.
if he is suppose to die in mgs4 then whats the point with mga.
THe only logical explanation is that between mgs3 and mgs4.
the point the game is that it is mgs main character is solid snake.
the poeple who know why the game is called mgs because of solid snake.
the poit its called goes thriugh that it could be about someone name acid.
that sound like wtf aproveded. i bet that this is on the psp.
back to the topic...
the main part of MGA and MGA2 that sets it apart is a card system
don't fear though, the card system is really smooth and it works really well
they also managed to keep the sneaking intact.
but if you don't like cards, get MGS-Portable Ops
