Title: Mp3 Problem
Post by: Degree on February 12, 2007, 10:03:37 PM
I'm using Rm2k3 v1.08. I can import Mp3 files and play them, but when I play the majority of them, they skip and make weird artifact noises.
They only do this inside of Rm2k3. The files sound fine from Winamp.

I just tried converting them to WAV. I imported the converted WAV file of the same Mp3 that was skipping into my project and it plays perfectly.
I would use WAV files to play them, but they're way too big..

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.. could anyone help me out here?

Convert them into midis.
Midi's work for me, on rm2k3, and also, i spose if theyre bigger than 10mb, its not gonna work.

Try using a program called Yamp (Google it), it usually makes well at transferring files from one to another. Also it would be best if you used midis, since they take up the least space. Can you please post examples of the mp3 files?
