Post by: TheBodge on January 23, 2006, 02:42:07 AM: Me and Dwarra have had an idea, an RPG Maker Encyclopedia website we are thinking of starting, where the members can post articals, tutorials and general rpg maker information making it any rpg makers hand book. (don't worry it wouldnt be forum, far from it).

We are wondering if it is worth it or not, and would you join etc.

Encyclopedias normally explains it's history. Along with the stuff you mentioned.

Only in the sense that we would use Mediawiki as the script, since i recently learn how to edit the damn thing 8) you have to do it all in php, there's no admin panel or anything X.x

There's not many articles on it at the moment, which is why you guys should get posting.

Make sure you read articles already up there first to get an idea of the style you should use in your writing. Remember, you are writing to what is essentially an encyclopedia - so use proper english and write in a formal style.

I've just finished writing up my giude on exactly how to use the wiki, so have a look here (http://rembrant.net/forums/showthread.php?t=47) if you're not sure of what to do.

You have to register before you can post or edit articles.

Is it missing anything? that's the thing, you can easily just add to any article if you have extra information :roll:
