Title: Smarter Enemies
Post by: Karrot on January 24, 2007, 12:00:36 AM
Is there a script that allows me to customize enemies to do/not do certain things? For example, if an enemy's ally is poisoned, the enemy will always cast Remedy to cure it. Or if there is a status that is disabled after being hit with a physical attack, the enemy will never attack that particular character with the "Attack" command?

Oh, while I'm at it, how can I make it so I can attack my own allies in battle?

Thanks. ^_^

I think you can use in battle event commands.

use sa conditional branch under the troops, and select "If character ___ is "state" poision

Oh, I never realized that. x) Well, that solves one problem, thanks a lot.

Now I just want to know how to be able to attack my own allies, please. Thanks.

attack allies? Do you mean make a conscious decision to attack an ally, or just a state in which you do not control the person affected and they attack the rest of the party? Because the latter can be done through states in the database.

Yes, I mean by a conscious decision.

For that you need and Advanced targeting script. I think Trickster made one. Try http://hbgames.org/forums .
