Title: Project Live ! (started developping : 15-1-2007)
Post by: islandstudios on January 15, 2007, 11:04:53 PM
Today I had a great idea of a game. Let me TRY to explain it to you.

This game has a story with quest's. (to make it easy you can do every quest over and over again). I will try to update the game every 3 months with new quest's. Exacly its simple, isn't it ?

The story :

The boy/girl is a farmer that's have to protect there town. He/She is finaly old enough to leave the town and then he/she can go on all sort's of quest's. (on some place's you can check all the avaible quests)

I still need some help so if you want to help me, ill be glad.

Unfourtanetly it is hard to support someone with a 3 post count, the idea your having just plainly wouldent work, for the fact that if you tried to move a save file from one game to the updated game the whole thing would crash, secondly noone is going to download repetative updates, it would just get scrutinzing

Ok thanks for the info.

Then I just change the idea. I've worked on it (made some maps, story is comming, etc.) so it will be a good idea for a game.

Well thanks for the info again !

sounds good. "support someone with a 3 post count" Don't worry about that, people supported me just the same. I really like the idea, if you can make the first release good. I will continue to download more.

That is not true, not from my experiences. You can easily move a save file from folder to folder. Though downloading again and again would get tedious...perhaps it may be better to look at an MassiveMultiplayerOnlineRolePlayingGame may be more of an option.
