Post by: dood that need help on January 12, 2007, 11:24:22 PM
Hi Script writing geniuses! I need a script for rpg maker xp that makes it so:

when I do an event that gets erased or changes position after I do it. Then I enter a different map, then go back into first map, the event doesn't come back or go back to its original position.

Please help me! I've searched every where!

Learn about switches.

Check here for some tutorials, or you can go to the RMRK STO for an eventing teacher.

think how many switches you would need for an NPC on random movement?

Your saying the events memorize their locations, yes there is a script for that look here:

at the end of the event page, add (turn self switch A on) then make a new page under the same event, leave it blank, but check the box for Self switch A on the left.
