Title: SPC Player
Post by: Arrow on January 07, 2007, 10:10:55 PM
Now, MP3's are great and all, but after a while they take up a lot of space. Plus, they are difficult to loop correctly at times. I've seen .dll's that play SPC's for Game Maker, and it really does make things easier if you can get it to work...Is there a way to support .dll's for this function in RPG Maker XP?

Last bump, if I get no replies I'll just assume it's not currently possible.

It should be possible. The only thing is that you need to know the .dll's functions.

All right, where do I look in the dll, and with what, to find those out? I'll totally do it if it's possible to make a script, it would DEFINITELY be worth it.

You actually can't just "open it and read it". Is there anywhere a help file for it or a Readme? If not, try to find one. Otherwise it would need to be hacked/reverse-engineered first.

All right, I'll look around...may take a few days, this one doesn't have a help file so I am going to have to find a new one.
