Title: A Few Problems
Post by: Mohanddo on December 28, 2006, 02:52:24 PM
Well i just got RPG MAKER 2003 and i want to make a game with it. What im stuck at is that when you make an event and you use that event, you can use it again for as many times. How do i change the event after it has been used.

Also, i want to do something so that after you complete a certain level or something, a door unlocks or you get to use another feature.

Thnx for the help  .

Btw dont think im a geek lol. I can rap with the best if i have to =P .

its called switches. you need to read up a lil bit on this buddy. lol
just make the event have a command where it calls a local switch, then a new page with the preconditions set to local switch A on. the local switch will work within its own event

Well first is first, thnx for the fast 2 second reply  :tpg: . but ...

I tottaly didnt get what you said. I remember using this for another game but i cant remember how to do it.
Can you like guide us through this ?

Think as if i have an event with a character on it. The character sais Hello the first time you talk to it. The second time you talk to it, it has to say bye.

Thnx again.

Except forget all you see about Local Switches. Those things don't exist, and seem to just complicate things.  :tpg:
