how large can a tileset be in XP I am not use to it yet and I would like to know the MAXIMUM dimation size it allows, so I can create my own if needed.
I don't think there is a specific dimention. If there is. I highly doubt you'll exceed it. Just take a look at some of the ones out there. Some of them are huge. ::)
This is in the faq ;p. The tileset height is unlimeted, the width is constant (just like the other tilesets)
