I didn't know what to name this so....

Anyway, I just got into emulation and I was wondering besides all my old favorites, what games should I play? I am using emulators for PSX, GBA, and N64. So tell me some of your favorite rpgs, fps, or anything for these systems.

I already have for PSX:
Legend of Dragoon
FF7
FF8
BoF 4
Legend of Mana

N64:
LoZ: OoT
Mario Cart

GBA:
All the pokemons.

Thanks :)

For the three systems you listed, get ALL Castlevania games.

Also, get all Zelda games.

Get the Metroid games that came out on GBA, they're great.

And I would recommend dabbling in some SNES games, too. Like some Chrono Trigger, Super Metroid, FF4, 5, and 6. (If you didn't know, FF5 was not released in america, ff4 was as ff2, and ff6 was as ff3. So, japanese versions, ff4-6.) Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past is an amazing SNES game, but I think there's a GBA port.

And after you play Chrono Trigger and are amazed by it, play Chrono Cross for PSX.

This text is way too personal.
Bronze - GIAW 11 (Hard)Silver - GIAW Halloween
GBA:

Firstly, you HAVE to get HAARRRRVEST MOON. Friends or More Friends, doesn't really matter which.
Megaman Zero is also a must. Battle Network's pretty good too.

Otherwise, these games are not essential, but I thought they were fun:

Summon Night: Swordcraft Story (1 and 2).
Boktai! The Sun is in your hand.
Earthbound.
Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap.
Legend of Zelda: Four Swords (I played with my brother on a No$Cash).

Yeah, I forgot about the SNES. I am downloading that now.
I did know about the messed up FF numbers, and I think we have translated ports.

Thanks all.

Agree with you. Harvest Moon is great. I recomment

GBA: Dragonball Z - the Legacy of Goku 2
Dragonball Z - Buu's Fury
Breath of Fire 1 , 2

How come no one has mentioned Golden Sun 1 & 2 for GBA?  Shame on all of you.

Also, FF's 4-6 were also released on GBA under their proper titles along with bonus content.  Five is definitely worth playing over the fan translation for SNES; the translation's much better imho.

Also, I'll reiterate: download Mother 3/Earthbound 2.  Fantastic game, but a little difficult if you can't get the hang of the musical timing attack bonuses.

I also saw that FF9 wasn't on your list. It should be.

For older games, I suggest the Castlevania series, sans Dracula X. Even 1, 2, 3 are good. My personal favorite, and my all time favorite video game, is Super Castlevania IV. This isn't to say the 'Metroidvania' games like Symphony of the Night are bad, but I like the classic side scrollers more.

You also seem to be hitting the RPG's a little hard, I suggest looking into Vagrant Story and Parasite Eve 1/2 on the PSX.

You'll love it!
For taking a crack at the RMRK Wiki
Gran Turismo 2, I reckon to be my second favorite PS1 game.

SNES:
Seiken Densetsu 3 (This game is amazing. Angela Dark-Light IIRC is fucking insane.)
Super Metroid

I also second all of the GBA games mentioned. Especially Legacy of Goku and Summon Night. The second Summon Night I think is better, and it's also a lot funnier.

I can't find Earthbound 1. I found Mother 1, and Mother 3, but no Mother 2. It irritates me

@everyone else, thanks for the suggestions :)

It's Mother 1, Mother 2/EarthBound, Mother 3/EarthBound 2. i.e. Mother 2 = EarthBound. Mother 3 = EarthBound 2. It's one of those Japanese titles vs. American titles things.

Mother 1 is an NES game. Some die-hard fans call is EarthBound 0. I tried it. It's hard, and weird (in less of a good way than EarthBound 1 and 2 are).

So I would just search for EarthBound for the SNES game and either EarthBound 2 or Mother 3 for the GBA game.

I know that. I just used Mother instead of Earthbound because I didn't know you could call Mother 1 "Earthbound 0" and vise-versa
Thanks though

Also, apparently there was a re-release of Mother 1 & 2 together on the GBA...

I should check that out...

Don't waste your time; only the first part has been fan translated, and they pretty much lifted the script from the English Mother 1.  No graphic update or anything else.

I didn't know about this though.  Might want to keep an eye on it; it's the same people that did the fan translation for Mother 3.
