I'm not sure where to put this, but here are my questions regarding the poison effect:
Is there a way to effect how much 'Slip Damage' you take with a poison effect on?
And is there a way to make the poison effect not say, "poison" as I have a bleeding state that has nowhere else to go but under the Slip Damage checkbox but it isn't poison, so it's strange when it pops up saying "Poison -58HP" (example).

Find the states box, change the name there. Can't recall the tab, think it might be system or skill.
-
In fact, states has its own tab.
I believe there are scripts to change the slip damage, but you'll have to do that yourself. I am far too busy doing nothing.
-
Well, I just noticed this was moved. But when Poison pops up upon slip damage it says Poison no matter what the state's name is simply because it is Slip Damage. I made a State called Bleeding and with Slip Damage toggled, Poison appears on the screen when the damage is taken.

It may be the battle system you are using because I think the basic battle system popups can be changed in the states tab in the bottom center. I hope this helped.
-
That's a good idea. You use TDS' battle system for Grace of Vil, yeah? You should probably ask TDS about this then.
-
Ah, alrighty then. Thanks for the heads up.
-
A bit late of a reply, but you can change the amount of damage Slip Damage does by fumbling around with the default scripts. I think it's in one of the battler scripts.
-
But if I were to edit the script, that would affect all states with that had Slip Damage applied. I was hoping to find a way to make the Slip Damage of specific states different than another.
-
If so, why don't you use the Slip Damage Extension by KGC? Not only you can alter the slip damage, it's even possible to set up Regen or MP Regen skill, very useful.
It should be in the KGC collection demo in PocketHouse script thread, I think :3

Woah, I never heard of that. Thanks a lot!
