Read the question properly, so for instance, I haven't used any RPG Maker in years, but I voted for RPG Maker 2003.

It's just to see who uses what. After all an RPG Maker site should really have an idea of exactly just what RPG Maker everyone is using :)

This is a new poll, and it's made in the announcements where everyone will see it. This one will be more up to date, and logically it should be more accurate.

I use official with keygen *cough* PK was in Japanese so that was pretty gay. Then, official with the patch thing was in Japanese so that was even gayer -_-

It says official version, not illegal version.
So it doesn't really matter how you got it, just that it is the official version

I used PK for a long time but i switched to legal XP yesterday and so far i'm finding it alot better :)

I use RPG Maker 2003 (french version), because I like the Super Nintendo/Sega Genesis old school graphics and it's much easier to draw 16x16 tiles than 32x32 for me

I never understand why bringing up old threads is frowned upon, if anything it keeps the discussion going for new generations! Yay!
Regardless, I would have to vote for XP simply because one can use it as a very user friendly graphics engine by stripping down every script and writing over them. It's easier than using Gosu or other Ruby graphics libraries.

the only maker ive ever used is 2000, so i cant really say i like it the best, but i do use it :/

2000 is good mainly for the good games people made with it and the imaginative systems. XP brought plug and play and laziness.
