Hello to all Gamers and RPG Creators!

This is the formal presentation of Magnificat, created and under developing by EvraeStudio team. The game is being developed in RPG Maker XP.






We are looking for talents to perform the voice act in Magnificat.






"To look into the divine's face we must look into the simplest creatures...", Baramus, Elder of Erus Bridge.

World of Adria, the Age of Iluminescense, Year 1789.

The recent founded cult of the Holy Mother was implanted after the fall of the Elementarist Era. The old traditions were adandoned at the deepest core of the world, while the glory of the new awakened Goddess flourished at the Adria's skies. The higher flag in the name of the Goddess is held by Anos Dominae, the sacred guild that holds the glory of bringing to the light the imaculated sanctity of the new religion.
The goddess was embraced by almost every culture around the known Adria and so began the Age of Iluminescense, sending to the shadows the old beliefs of the Ancient Tradition.
Altough the era of light and progress casted aways the old beliefs, they didn't die completely. A powerful sparkle of the ancient power still lives, hidden, unknown and weakened, but yet feared by the New Age. It is the Mirae.

In the ancient age of Elementarism, the power and belief emanated from the very core of the nature. It was infinite and devastating. The myths and legends were real and walked at the lands alongside with the people. There was harmony and understanding, until the Mirae was found. It is said that, after the Mirae appeared, the balance was broken and the unknown power that pulsed from it was to much to be handled by an already weakened Adria. The conflicts between the Old and New religion were the last drop for the end of the Elementarist Era...
The Mirae was a reality centuries ago. Along the time, from reality it became a story, from story it became a myth and from the myth it became a legend.
What is the Mirae... it is still a mystery in the present world of Adria. But its name is still whispered at the folk's legends, where it appears like being an wicked witch or deadly monster, but the true is, it's true face is still a mystery.
The legend says that ""Thee who hold the Mirae under thy control, will be able to reach the magnificence of a God and change Adrias face." Led by this folk tale many adventurers dived in the deepest regions of the Unknown Adria in order to find the legendary entity, but very few came back of their journey and under the time, the Mirae became only a bedtime story...

Although the mystery about the Mirae lies in the folk stories, nowadays, the desire towards its power didn't die inside some hearts.
Mysterious groups move inside the shadows in an endless search for the precious power, a power that seems to no want to be found...

Presently, the truth about the Mirae is about to change. After three long centuries hidden from the world, the Mirae seems to have been found...

That's where our story begins.

Under a prelude of a storm, strangers appears in the remote village of Aden.
Their intentions... unknown. But the electricity in the air whispers a bad omen towards a simple village house. The Alchemist's house. Fear is coming near that place.
Awakened by the storm, Satina, a simple but smart girl, looks the ceiling of the basement where she lives. She slept too much. Lady Ursula will be angry.
Scaring the sleep from her eyes, Satina gets up from her bed as fast as possible and rushes toward the kitchen where is an angry old woman. She is Lady Ursula, and old alchemist that raised Satina since she was a newborn child. After scolding the girl, Lady Ursula sends her, under the stormy rain to pick the igredients for her potions. Good willed, Satina accepts her fortune, challenges the storm and goes to the woods.
What she fails to know is that, this is the first trigger of her great adventure.

Satina is the central character of the story.
She is a common civilian of Aden Village. She is kind, good hearted and clever, gathering friendship with pratically all villagers.
The only world Satina knows is the Aden region and the Linges river plains, making her  curious about the rest of the world that she is only able to see in books. She is also deeply devoted to the Goddess, going to pray on the temple everyday.
Satina was raised by Lady Ursula, an old alchemist that doesn't lose the opportunity of difficulting Satina's life. Although the hard treatment she receives from Lady Ursula, Satina is deeply loyal to her and is able to risk herself to accomplish the old lady's wishes.
Despite her exterior fragility, Satina is a very strong hearted and has her values well set, what makes her a strong woman, able to face the danger of a world to help the ones she loves.



Sophie is the village's acolyte and also Satina's best friend.
She is far of being the angelic stereotype of an acolyte. Sophie is a over active and sometimes loudy folk, what makes people around blush with her easyness of mind. Frequently, she doens't have control on her mouth and lets an unproper word spit out when she gets really angry or over joyed.
Along with Priestess Amelia, Sophie looks after the village temple and helps the villagers in need. Kind and strong willed, the acolyte is always helping the ones in need and guiding people to the glory of the Holy Mother.
Sophie has a very protective attitude towards Satina, feeling like she was her younger sister,  since they grew up together.
If there is a person Sophie hates , is Lady Ursula. She never loses a chance to curse on the old hag, as she calls the alchemist, receiving reprimends by Satina, who is deeply devoted to her adoptive mother.
Sophie is a person who is the one who is always on the weaker's side, protecting them with the whole force of her will, what makes her the main supportive pillar of the adventure.




Lorenz is Aden Wood's ranger. He is the protector of the Woods and keeps the balance in the creature flow. He is Satina and Sophie's good friend and helps them in many danger situations. Lorenz is very skilled at the use of the bow and it is known that he never misses a target.
Handsome and brave, Lorenz captivate the eyes and heart of many local young women, including Satina. Is not known clearly if the romantc feeling is shared by Lorenz, but it is clearly known that he cares a lot about Satina.
Hard valued and a bit dogmatic, Lorenz stands up to protect the values he considers righteous and works hard to make justice prevail the long his bow can reach.



Lady Ursula is a mysterious person.
It is know that no one on the village knows about her past.
Since she arrived the village, Lady Ursula was never really liked by none of the local folks. Many feared her, many suspected she could be a devote of the dark ancient cults and many just didn't like her unpleasant way of treating people.
Though Lady Ursula was an alchemist, a person not very well accepted by the fervorous Goddess' followers, she was tolerated since she held a good relationship with the local priestess, Amelia. Ursula's service as alchemist helped the villagers in many problems and dangers, what made her uneasy acceptness by the local folk cease.
When she appeared in town with a little newborn baby in her arms, many of the village people was surprised, since all they knew that this stone hearted woman would not be able to raise a little girl. But Satina raised and was liked by everyone in the village.
Lady Ursula has a rough way of treating her adoptive child and this fact raises the fury of many of the closer people to Satina, but none of them is able to challenge the mysterious alchemist.
Much more about Lady Ursula is yet unknown, but bad omens lies nearby her house...



The Ouroboros clan is yet a mystery. Three of their members appear in the very beggining of the story. It is come out to know that they are looking after the Mirae, but their intentions in Aden Village such as their reasons are yet unknown. But a threatening wind blows toward Aden...
The only names revealed yet are Steya and Zatara.




I have the pleasure to present you some of the characters that will be present on Chapter 1 and 2, scheduled to be released on May.





Member of Capitoline's city high society, Bellatix Alexandra is one of the Capitoline's Tower wizards. For some reason yet unknown, she travels over Adria avoiding contact with her Order. It is known that she after graduating at Capitoline's Tower, she joined the Anos Dominae Order, becoming member of the Iluminati.
In her actual situation, Bella is very reticent about her years in Anos Dominae, such as her reasons for keeping herself apart from it.
Although being mysterious, Bella is a very pleasing person to have near. Cheerfull and kind person, she always looks foward raising her party's morale, and, even in difficult situations she almost never loses her smile.
Bella is very humble about her magic skills, never vangloriating herself even when she is praised by other people, always acting silly when that happens.
Some who doesn't know her may take her for a silly mindded person, but inside that outgoing layer lies a very skillfull magic user, that can keep up as a dangerous oponnent.



Orphan since he was eleven, Gilzu grew up in Heingraad's streets, learning how to survive on his own. In those very streets he learnt the art of thievery, in order to defend himself from the street's dangers.
Gilzu joins the story alongside with Bella. How those two opposites met and became travel companions is "one of the most well kept secret in the whole Adria.", as Bella never ceases to say.
Altough they travel together and keep up to each other, Gilzu and Bella spend most of the time arguing for silly reasons. The wizard never loses the opportunity of beating in Gil, who gets furious and calls her unproper names, what ends in more beating...
Tricky and clever, Gil is a fearful oponnent in battle, using his secret skills for confusing the enemy and emptying his pockets before he gets noticed. He is very determined and never gives up of his goals, but he is often betrayed by his lazyness, what retards his action.
Gilzu will be a usefull travel companion, for his knowledge of the darkest areas of Adria and for his lack of mercy on the unprevent pockets.



Eilfort is known as being the Capitain of Anos Dominae's White Army.
Like Ouroboros Clan's members, he is searching for the Mirae under the Hierophant's request. Thirsty for glory and recognizing, Eilfort will make everything at his reach to be successful at his quest, even if sacrifices have to be made.
Cold hearted and rigid, Eilfort commands his army with iron fist, become one of the most feared knights in the Old Continent.
Following the Illuminati's leads, Eilfort is led to the Aden District, where, supposely, the Mirae is located. Reaching the Linges River town, he comes across with Bella, followed by local folks. Past conflicts boils and confront can't be avoided...



 Loena appears alongside Eilfort on the Aden District expedition, introduced as his sister.
Like her brother, Loena is a Knight of Anos Dominae's White Army and is an active member of the Mirae's search quest.
Frequently smiling and acting cordial for her companions, Loena gathers many admirers inside Anos Dominae's armies. Her sword skills are rarely seen, but she is a skillful user of supportive magic, playing often a powerful supportive role in the White Army's battles.
Not much more is yet known about Loena, but it is whispered that she is the most feared woman in the White Army.





The Magnificat RPG game is yet in the first steps of its development. The  story, such as the characters have gained structure and are in developing fase. The mapping is still on development fase and currently is more advanced than the ones shown in the Demo, such as menus, leveling system, light/shadowing and so.
The release of the complete Chapters 1 and 2 Demo version, is previewed to be held in the ends of May, so in the case you are curious of how it is going to be, we ask a bit of your patience. But we assure that it will be worthy every byte of download. We also want Magnificat to become a enjoyfull audio experience, so, we will avoid the annouying themes that make you turn of the system sound.

From this first demo release we are looking foward to read your comments and critics about our project. The demo version shows the work of two weeks ago, meaning that, the current project suffered some enhancements. Just drop down here you constructive opinions and thoughts.

Now that you talk about the faces and character images, those ones weren't made by our team, they were found at a great developist's site. But, our staff is looking foward developing our own character design (images, battlers and faces), keeping the visual design at the pattern of the ones you find actually. We need to picture the image of characters in diferent situations and facial expressions, such as body position, in order to not make a static representation of the game cast.
Our team isn't very big and, due to other schedules and compromises, we lack of the time to develop this specific features such as character design and so.

Presently, EvraeStudio consists in four people.

I [the one who participates in this forum] am the leader of the team and responsible for the story creation and the main leads about the game. The other three members, also work on the story development, such as the character development, maping and such.
As we are just four and we are busy often, it becomes difficult to present lots of workn in short time. So, to guarantee the quality of our production, we have to take a considerable part of our time.

As responsible for EvraeStudio, I do the public relations part and the parts of the plot that shall be revealed and the demos that shall be released.
Actually, I am writing the next chapters and the main line of the story plot, while the rest of the team is developing the other game features and producing the mapping. We have some work to do before the next demo is released. We will just release a nex upload when we see that the main base of the game outline is already defined.

Until there, we have to managa our time to not disappoint the expectations about our work. We want to make every single byte worth downloading.

I would like to suggest for those who played the first released demo of Magnificat, to post here in this topic a little review about the game. Post here your suggestions and critics for us to have a notion of your feed back. I would also like to ask for you to vote on the poll up there, please, so that we can know if you liked or disliked our first concept product.

Here below, are some game system customizing goals we want to achieve:

- Party change system, in map scene and during battle scene, with an own battle command on battle scene for "Party Change" (will need a battle action customizer...[?]);

- Overdrive / Limit Break system, with gauges and overdrive type selection (already found the script, but we're already figuring how it works...;

- Status leveling with points in each LVL UP (already achieved);

- Custom menu, with custom status window were it is showed the status/element resistance of each character;

- summon skill, where only the summoned entity stands on the battle scene, while the other battlers stay hidden; (yet in discussion over the team...)

- menu option that opens a status window of the summon creatures (or other special status feature);

- skill aquiring by leveling points and skill tree;

- custom battle scene actions (additions to the defaul ones);

- character active shadow, mirror/water/whatever reflections.

For now those are some of the goals we have in mind for Magnificat's game system.

We are still learning how do those scripting work, since we started on the game making for not long time. So, it will take us some time to put those engines running. Any help you can spare will be very usefull to us.

I am looking for some voices to act in the main dialogues from Magnificat.

I have already found the narrator, so I'm still looking for the voice of the main characters.

We have no preference in gender, but for now, we are loking for voices to the following characters:

Female Characters:
Steya; Satina; Sophie; Bella; Lady Ursula; Pristess Amelia and Loena.

Male Characters:
Lorenz; Gilzu; Eilfort; Zatara and some two characters which anme shall not be revealed (one of them is the mysterious man that comes along with Steya and the other one will be present in the next demo release).

I will post today the text of the first dialogue of the game, between Steya and that other guys. Your voice is exatcly the one I was thinking for the mysterious guy and even Zatara too. If you be able to make your voice sound like an old man, you could also perform the setence said by Baramus in the opening sequence.

If you guys want, please send me a sample test of the dialogue sequence or part of it. Your voices fit like a glove in some chararcter's, like I imagined theirs. Ah, other thing, could you help me to find capable female voices to perform the female characters? For now I was looking for voices to Steya, Satina, Sophie and Lady Ursula. I would be lucky to find a voice to Bella also. I will post some dialogues and characters profile details.

I am still in need of female voices to play the characters to, I wish so, voice act in the next release of Magnificat. Some male voices have already send samples and I have the idea of the characters they could fit in. Now I would like some female voice samples too.

The roles to: Narrator, Steya, Sophie, Lorenz, Zatara and Mysterious Man already have potential voices that may perform their dialogues. But the casting is still open. The people (Blizzard<Zatara>, Zxmeelee) that sent already samples, if possible, send me a more complete voice act of the dialogue posted previously. I would like to implement some voice act to test in the next demo release.
The other character voice spots are still open for new talents that might step the stage.  :lol:

Gilzu is a free spirited, sly and tricky person. He is easy going, though he irritates easily, specially with Bella. His patiente is as small as his affection for rich people, making him a bit rushy and careless. Although being careless and foolish at first sight, Gilzu is very wise about life and has a bit of hardeness towards his childhood, making him sound hard and reticent when the subject is cast. He constantly changes his mood to a foolish long mouth person, to a circunspect thinker about what he has in front of him.
His voice would be of a man in his early 20's, sounding like a jovial guy, but, in some circunstamces that cheerfull sound vanishes completely, giving place to a cold and deep voice, somethimes threatening, sometimes irritated.

That party screen is a script that you can find in rmxp.net in the Script section. It was made by XK8. I made some custimize at the script for it to fit better my needs. But basically, is quite like that.

Hey peoples :) Sorry to say guys but I cant do any of the voice acting for you awesome sounding game. I realy would if i wasnt working and going to school. Nevertheless thank you very much for even considering me.

I hope you enjoy our game. The 2 chapters solid demo release is scheduled to the ends of May. It's possible that we release a test demo sooner, but we are still working on some difficult features with the few time we have.

I don't have the sample dialogue for Eilfort yet. For now, just send me a sample of your voice act based on the Dialogue Sample I posted on this thread. In case your voice fits Eilfort, I will send you some of his dialogues as soon as I finnish them.
The character detailed profile of the voice for performing will be added soon.
