With the new sequel comming up i figured it might be a good idea to watch it. Little did i know what i was getting myself into. So basically the first twenty minutes is a guy who looks doped up out of his mind wandering around a deserted city. Little did he know an evacuation took place. Then after wandering around yelling for about another ten minutes, he stumbles into a random building and yells at some zombies. At this point I'm thinking finally its gonna pick up but little did i know this was a climax for the fucking film. I lay back in trying to wrap my mind around the concept of rage-monsters, or "infected" which are rooted from fucking monkeys. Like what is this disease fucking AIDS?
The movie did have its good points though, like when the girl almost got raped by a bunch of solders. And ummm the credits.
After seeing this movie, a couple thoughts rang through my mind.
1.Godammit Bio, wtf are you talking about?!!?1
and 2. I wonder if the sequal will be any better.
I plan on seeing the second installment 28 weeks later. If the director has any signs of intelligence he would add in either A. More Tits or B. Something that makes fucking sense, into the sequal.
Alas i am tired of bitching about this movie so i bid farewell, you'll hear from me again after i see the second one.

Ive seen the second one i liked it. I still havent seen the first one though.. I missed the best pasrt of 28 weeks later though, i needed to pee so i qiuckly ran to the toilet in the cinema came back and i missed some guy get flame throwered.. Oh but the best bit was when some guy hacked up like 100 of them with the blades of the helicopter.. Anyway good movie i rekon..

Seen both 28 days later and 28 weeks later. Both pretty good, nice story twist on 28 weeks later.
I wasn't expecting 28 weeks later to be anywhere near as good as it was, since none of the cast etc were going to return, but it was nice.
Also, Dawn of the dead / Land of the dead both kind of sucked in my opinion. At least, compared to the 28 duo.

I wasn't expecting 28 weeks later to be anywhere near as good as it was, since none of the cast etc were going to return, but it was nice.

I've never seen land of the dead because everyone says its terrable.

My buddy Voll was obsessed with 28 Days Later. I thought it was pretty good, but nothing to go crazy over. I want to see the second one because Michael from Lost is in it, though, and we all know how I feel about that show.

That's the prolbem with people these days, if something doesn't blow up in every scene then it's a bad movie. >.<
