I'm working on a roguelike and I was wondering if there where any custom battle systems that would work for a roguelike. As in: Monsters roaming the dungeons aimlessly and as the player enters their line of sight they go in the direction of the player and tries to attack. And the player can with the press of a button attack the monster. And also use his equipped spells, etc.
