Post by: Arrow on August 04, 2007, 08:10:24 PM: The grass is from setting your display settings to nice. If you just have green, then you probably have it set to normal or fast.

Which in actuality is the way to go really, unless you're playing on a gamer computer.

2) 9? But my card is DX 8.1 and it runs fine. It ran on my old geforce 4 MX 440 too, which is a DX7 card.

The grass probably uses a pixel shader version that your card doesn't support. EG Mine is a Ti4200 and it only has Pixel Shader 1.1 support.

CUSTOM MUSIC FOR TRACK MANIA NATIONS (and probably United too)

1. FIND OGG FILES
2. NAVIGATE TO THIS FOLDER (based on you installing into the default directory)

- C:\Program Files\TrackMania Nations ESWC\GameData\Skins\Stadium\Music\Race

3. COPY PASTE OGGS IN. FEEL FREE TO DELETE THE OLD CRAP YOU DONT WANT.
4. PLAY TRACKMANIA AND ENJOY YOUR CUSTOM SOUNDTRACK.

(I'm gonna see if I can replace the engine and horn sounds tomorrow. ;8 )

Post by: Roph on August 13, 2007, 03:25:04 AM: Even though it's free, TM Nations uses Starforce. It obviously doesn't bother checking any discs though since there are none, and it's not hard (and there are tools out there) to remove Starforce if you really want to.

On this install of XP I've got Trackmania Sunrise (legally bought) running fine using starforce, as well as cracked starforce games like Colin McRae Rally 2005.
